Multiple sclerosis is more acute in the spring and summer. According to an American survey, conducted by Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston (USA) and coordindata Dr. Dominik Meier, in the period from March to August, the disease appears to have peaked.
The explanation? According to the researchers, the cause is linked to solar radiation and high temperatures . To prove that seasonal items could be considered risk factors , scholars examined between 1991 and 1993, brain magnetic resonance imaging of 44 patients, aged between 25 and 52 years, sclerosis.
